Malayalam film actress Kozhikode Shanta Devi (85) passed away in a private hospital in Kozhikode. She is the wife of great singer Kozhikode Abdul Khader. She is stay alived by a son.Her body kept at the Kozhikode Town Hall for the public to pay homage. Kozhikode District Collector Dr. P.B. Salim placed a wreath on behalf of Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan. Later, the funeral took place this afternoon in Mavoor, Kozhikode.
