Sangeetha Mohan is in the news for causing an accident near Karunagappally Thaluk Hospital on Wednesday, 21 December 2011 at 10.45 pm.
But it is being said that there was a driver with Sangeetha Mohan in the Alto car and at the time of accident Sangeetha Mohan was not driving.
The person who died was Shibu who was traveling in a bike, which was hit by Sangeetha Mohan's car.
Shibu fell down in the road after being hit and a Trailer lorry went over him and he was immediately taken to hospital.
But he died at Medical College Hospital in Trivandrum on 22 December morning.
Shibu is a native of Tazhava Kuthirapanthi Kochu Kaleekkal Veedu.
Sangeetha Mohan's car was taken into custody by Police.

Four held for blackmailing Suraj Venjaramoodu
Four persons were arrested by the Tripunithura police on charges of blackmailing actor Suraj Venjaramoodu over the phone.
The police said that a person claiming to be an advocate practising at the High Court called up Suraj and promised to clear him off the case registered for sexually abusing a minor girl from North Paravur. Following this, the actor alerted the Ernakulam Crime Branch, which is probing the case at present.
As the caller was from Tripunithura, Crime Branch team asked Tripunithura police to track the caller. As directed by the police, Suraj asked the caller to come over to the shooting location at Alappuzha to collect the money.
The main accused Radhakrishnan, 45, of Cheriathuparambil House, Nedumbassery was arrested along with his three accomplices Unni, 45, Ashok Kumar, 42, and Sunil Kumar, 37. The accused persons will be presented before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate on Friday.

Actress Ramya Krishna and her sister Vinaya Krishnan are arrested under bailable warrant further to the complaint lodged by Kutti Padmini. Kutti Padmini has claimed that the sisters have violated a contractual agreement for a ‘Kalasam’ , which is a Sun TV serial where she was not honored as the creative head for the serial as agreed earlier. It was agreed earlier that Kutti Padmini would serve as the creative head and be paid accordingly but the same was not included in the agreement.
Members of Society of Television Production, South India has settled the disputes between the sisters and Kutti Padmini over this stipulation and a fresh contract was signed with all the concerned agreements. The issue was comforted after that.

Man accused of raping woman arrested
The police on Thursday held a person in connection with the rape of a woman who was pushed out of a moving train in Cheruthurthy, Shornur on Tuesday night. Railway Police held Charley, 30, from Vadakkancherry railway station.
The 23-year-old woman is battling for her life after she jumped from a running train to escape a molestation bid by a man who entered the woman's compartment of the Ernakulam-Shornur passenger train, police said.
Police said that she was still unconscious and in the ICU of the Government Medical College Hospital at nearby Mulamkunnathukavu.

The Judicial First-class Magistrate gave a penalty of Rs.2750 to Devi Ajith for drunken driving.
The incident happened at Pippinmoodu in Sasthamangalam on Wednesday 22 July 2009 night. The actress, in an inebriated condition, lost control of her Alto car, rammed into an electric post and started uttering vulgar words against the public. When the police reached the spot, she then turned against the police in the same manner.
On medical examination, it was found that she was drunk. And also she agreed in the court that she has drunken drivin.

A 35-year-old Bangalore based businessman was arrested here today for allegedly sending 'lewd sms' to Tamil actress Sneha, police said.
Cyber crime wing officials arrested Narayanaswamy, engaged in real estate business, at a restaurant here, police said, adding they were monitoring his activities following a complaint from the actress.
A case has been registered against him under Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act, they said.
He has been remanded to 15-days judicial custody, they added.
