ചലച്ചിത്ര നടന്‍ സുബൈര്‍(48) അന്തരിച്ചു. ഹൃദയാഘാതത്തെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് കൊച്ചിയിലെ മെഡിക്കല്‍ ട്രസ്റ്റ് ആസ്​പത്രിയില്‍ വെച്ചായിരുന്നു അന്ത്യം.

ഇരുന്നൂറോളം സിനിമകളില്‍ അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. പൃഥ്വിരാജ് നായകനായ 'ത്രില്ലര്‍' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തില്‍ അഭിനയിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.

I have broken up with Katrina: Salman Khan

When Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were a couple, their admission of love came forth in just muted tones. Now, when the industry is abuzz with the talks of their split, Salman has thrown a bombshell by admitting that he and Katrina have indeed parted ways.

“I have broken up with Katrina. We were friends then for everybody, we are friends now,” Salman is quoted to have said in an interview to Headlines Today.

The Dabangg star got a little philosophical when asked about the reason of his break-up from Katrina.

Arya to make Malayalam debut

Lately, it is being seen that some of the brightest stars of Kollywood are making their foray into Malayalam. After Prabhu, Sarath Kumar the seniors, the time has come for another name to join the list.

He is none other than the raw hunk Arya and it is heard that he has signed the dotted line for a new project which will be directed by Roshan Andrews. The buzz is that he would be teaming up with the Malayalam superstar Prithviraj in the film.

Rathi Nirvedam to be remade

Bharathan's classic Rathi Nirvedam, will be remade in Malayalam by veteran producer Suresh Kumar. Jayabharathi and Krishnachandran in the lead of this movie. Movie will be remade in Malayalam by producer Suresh Kumar with newcomers in the lead.

The remake will be directed by T.K. Rajeev Kumar and the shoot will start on September 3 in Nilambur.

Rathi Nirvedam revolves around a school boy Pappu in a small village, who falls in love with an older girl from the neighborhood Rathi (Jayabharathi). Rathi Nirvedam was one of the 'A' certified movies in the 70s.
