‘Avalude Ravukal' for a remake!

One of the bold movies in the history of Malayalam cinema, Avalude Ravukal (1978), directed by veteran I.V. Sasi with Seema in the lead role as teenage prostitute, will soon have a sequel.

According to sources, popular producer Liberty Basheer, will produce the sequel. The first question from all is that who will plays the role of Raji, played by Seema in the original?

The film crew approach Priyamani for it and waiting for her date. Vijayaraghavan will play Soman's role, while Mamukkoya will be seen in the role played by late Kuthiravattan Pappu. Seema will also join the cast. This untitled sequel is scripted by Aleppey Ashraf, who wrote the original. R.K. Damodharan will pen the lyrics, while Berny Ignatious will score music.
