Prabhu-Nayanthara won the best close-up couple award!

Prabhu-Nayanthara won the best close-up couple award at the South Scope Awards 2010 instituted by South Scope magazine, who plan to get married in December.

The awards were presented to the winners by the evergreen Sridevi on Sunday night at a colorful function held at Hotel Novotel, Hyderabad.

Priyamani's liplock with Sumanth?

Priyamani will be seen in a liplock scene with Sumanth in a forthcoming film. The film directed by debut Vigisipi Vishtaa and produced by Kumar Brothers. This is the first such scene both for Priyamani and Sumanth.

The director decided to include a liplock scene in this romantic flick after watching the terrific chemistry between Sumanth and Priyamani on the sets. Rim Jhim is said to be the titled under consideration for this flick. Vimala Raman is the second heroine.

South Indian hot actress Nayantara has decided to quits for acting. Her love story with Prabhudeva, there was also a grapevine that she would be quitting films.

Now that the cat is out of the bag and marriage looks imminent on the cards, it is heard that Nayan has decided to call it quits for acting. Singer Swarnalatha passed away

South Indian singer Swarnalatha passed away at a private hospital in Chennai. She was 37.

She has been singing with many famous music directors.

She was born to a harmonium player and singer K C Cherukutty and Kalyani. Swarnalatha knows to play harmonium and keyboard.

She won the National Film Award for best female playback singer for her rendition of the famous song Porale Ponnuthayi from the film Karuthamma. The song was composed by A R Rahman, with whom she has given lot of memorable songs.
