Record satellite price for ‘Christian Brothers’Asianet has bought the television rights of ‘Christian Brothers’ for a big 3 crores and this has set a new bench mark in Malayalam satellite television.

The highest price paid for the television rights of a movie so far was 2.86 crores. That was for Mohanlal starrer T20 paid by Surya TV. Now another Mohanlal film has broken that record and set a new record.

Anjali is all set to make her Mollywood debut. The actress would be seen opposite Jayasuriya in the upcoming Malayalam film Payyans.

The film is directed by Leo Thaddeus. The film talks about the relationship, love and bonding between a father and a son. Jayasuriya plays the son, Lal plays the father and as per reports Rohini plays the mother.

The actor and actress married in 1987, couple has two sons who are 20 and 17.

About 10 years back, the couple had difference of opinion and Saritha called for the separation leading to divorce, which is still pending on the bench of honorary court in Chennai.

The family court as per the formalities ordered a 6 month separation period and ordered the couple for counseling.

Director Vasanthabalan made the official announcement few days ago. 'Aravaan' film will have ‘Eeram’ fame Aadhi as the protagonist. Archana Kavi and Dhanshika are the two heroines in the film. ‘Veyil’ fame Pasupathy is also playing an important role.

‘Aravaan’ is a period film happening in the 18th century Tamil Nadu. Popular singer Karthik is debuting as the music composer. Siddarth of 'Yaaradi Nee Mohini' fame would wield the camera. T Siva of Amma Creations would produce the film.
