Super hit movie ‘Rajavinte Makan’ for a remakeThe film which catapulted Mohanlal to superstardom ‘Rajavaninte Makan’ will be soon remade in Malayalam. The makers of the original movie, its director Thampi Kannanthanam and script writer Dennis Joseph has been called on for the discussion by Mohanlal's man Friday Antony Perumbavoor.

As per the latest reposrts the team has agreed to go in for a remake, rather than a follow-up. The project to be produced by Ashirwad Cinema will also feature Suresh Gopi in the prominent role that he played in the original. It may be noted Suresh Gopi also came to attention with this movie.

Suja Karthika weds RakeshPopular Malayalam actress Suja Karthika, was married to Rakesh Krishnan at Thiruvonam Auditorium. The marriage function was held at Thrikkakara Mahadeva Temple on Sunday.

Kavya Madhvan, Bhavana, Samvritha Sunil, Manju Warrier, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, producer Suresh Kumar, Menaka, Radhika Suresh Gopi, Jagathy Sreekumar, Janardhanan, Vinu Mohan, Thesni Khan, Beena Antony and many others attended the function.

Rakesh, son of Eranakulam-based Krishna Menon and Syama Krishnan, is working with the Merchant Navy. Suja is the daughter of Dr. P.K. Sundareshan and Jaya.
