Kavya Madhavan is now Mohanlal’s heroine

Malayalam’s favorite actress Kavya Madhavan is back. She was supposed to play the lead in Major Ravi’s Madan Kolli has backed out of the project. And now she will be Mohanlal’s heroine in Christian Brothers. Joshiy is going to direct this movie.


The film’s star cast also includes Dileep and Suresh Gopi. Prithviraj and Jayasurya who were there in the project as per rumours, are no more in the scheme of things. The film has been scripted by Siby K Thomas-Udayakrishnan, who made Twenty 20 with Joshiy last year. Kavya was Mohanlal’s heroine in Madambi earlier.

Meera Jasmine is back!

Malayalam blessing actress Meera Jasmine has been busy with movies in other languages. She is the leading actress in South Indian Industry now.

And the heroine who has been in break from Malayalam industry is back.
The source said, she has signed a movie to be made by Rajeev Anchal. The cast should be Revathy, Jagathy Sreekumar and Manoj K Jayan. Scripted by Dr. Rajendra Babu for this movie. The shooting is expected to kick off in January.

Charmi acting with Mammootty

Delightful beauty of Tollywood, Charmi is now spinning to Malayalam films.
She is going to act with Mammootty Shaji Kailas' upcoming film tentatively titled Dronar. The movie scripted by A.K. Saajan and produced by M. Mani. Shooting for Dronar will start in Ottapalam.

Mammootty will complete Chattambinadu and join the Dronar unit by Novomber 7. Incidentally, Charmi debuted in Malayalam with director Vinayan's less-than-famous Kattuchembakam in 2002, much before she became the oomph girl of Telugu films.

Charmi recently signed director Kamal's upcoming Malayalam flick Aagathan opposite Dileep.

Serial actress fined for driving after consuming alcohol

The Judicial First-class Magistrate gave a penalty of Rs.2750 to Devi Ajith for drunken driving.

The incident happened at Pippinmoodu in Sasthamangalam on Wednesday 22 July 2009 night. The actress, in an inebriated condition, lost control of her Alto car, rammed into an electric post and started uttering vulgar words against the public. When the police reached the spot, she then turned against the police in the same manner.

On medical examination, it was found that she was drunk. And also she agreed in the court that she has drunken drivin.
