Wedding bells for Geethu Mohandas

Malayalam Actress Geetu Mohandas is to wed commended cinematographer Rajiv Ravi at Kochi on November 14. The actress shot to attention in Bommukutti Ammavukku, playing the child of Suhasini and Sathyaraj. As a heroine, Geetu had significant roles in the comedy caper Nala Damayanthi and epic director K. Balachander's 100th movie Poi.

After moving over Malayalam and art films, Geetu's entrance directorial venture Kelkkunnundo with Rajiv Ravi as cinematographer was released recently.Rajiv Ravi has a string of hits in Bollywood, including Chandni Bar, Dev D and Gulal speaking for his talent.

The lensman's work in the Malayalam hit Classmates was also praised. It sure is a chance that the marriage date of this child artiste-turned heroine falls on Children's Day.

Trisha's weighty Bollywood launch

The hot and sexy actress in south Indian film industry , Trisha is all set to take Bollywood by storm.

The actress's Bollywood launch film is Khatta Meetha by Malaylam direct Priyadarshan. She is said to be playing two roles in the film which is slated as a family entertainer.

Sources say it would be a little unusual from the other Priyadarshan comedies which have heroines as mere props. But for Trisha, the role has been perfectly etched out and is a rather plum role.
