Businessman arrested for sending lewd sms to Sneha

A 35-year-old Bangalore based businessman was arrested here today for allegedly sending 'lewd sms' to Tamil actress Sneha, police said.

Cyber crime wing officials arrested Narayanaswamy, engaged in real estate business, at a restaurant here, police said, adding they were monitoring his activities following a complaint from the actress.

A case has been registered against him under Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Act, they said.

He has been remanded to 15-days judicial custody, they added.

Nayan-Prabhu Deva break up!

The intimate relationship between Nayantara and Prabhu Deva is coming to an end. According to sources, the actress has decided to keep away from the actor-director for the time being due to the compulsion of her parents and close friends.

The actress parents feel that her affair with Deva has ruined her career. They even met a famous astrologer to know about their daughter?s future. Some of her films have flopped miserably. At present she has only one film with Surya named Aadhavan under the direction of K S Ravikumarn. Vimala Ramans Lover Boy

Audiences will next see Tamil-Malayalam-Telugu actress Vimala Raman (who was last seen in the Telugu film Evaraina Epudaina with Varun Sandesh) opposite Tarun in his upcoming Telugu film, Lover Boy. Directed by V.N. Aditya and produced by Supreme Raju Harwani and Gogineni Srinivas, Lover Boy was launched by superstar Chiranjeevi at Rama Naidu Studios. He gave the clap for the muhurat shot, as D. Suresh Babu switched on the camera.

Lover Boy is a romantic drama, which is being shot in foreign locales. Around 40 days of its shooting will take place in Malaysia.

Wedding bells for Sri Devika

Sri Devika is all set to become ‘Srimathi’. The betrothal ceremony of the actress with Rohit Ramachandran, a Mumbai based pilot, would take place on August 23 at Palakkad in Kerala. Their marriage is scheduled in early 2010.

Says Sri Devika, “a longtime friendship between my family and that of Rohit has resulted in our wedding. I am currently acting in ‘Sarithiram’, whose shoot is expected to complete soon. I would act after my wedding if meaty roles come in my way.”

The actress, who entered Tamil industry with the film ‘Ramakrishna’, has acted in movies including ‘Andha Naal Gnabagam’ and ‘Anbey Vaa’. Her recent release was ‘Gnabagangal’, the debut movie of lyricist Pa Vijay as an actor.
