Ananya’s wedding plans go bust

It's been just a few days after exchanging rings that the Ananya-Anjaneyan relation met with a jerk. The actor's father approached the police alleging that Anjaneyan tried to hide the fact that he was married earlier.

Ananya had been under house arrest and close friends of Ananya had tried to clear her name through the social media.

The Perumbavoor police subsequently interrogated Anjaneyan when he came to Ananya's house the other day and confirmed that he had married earlier, but filed a divorce suit.

“Anjaneyan was married to a girl hailing from Kozhikode in 2008. But the couple had filed a mutual divorce petition which is pending with the court," said the Perumbavoor SI Honey K. Das.

Ananya marriage fixed

Actress Ananya’s marriage has been fixed and her engagement will take place on February 2.

Ananya (Ayilya G Nair) revealed her wedding plan yesterday and according to the reports Ananya engagement will be at Ernakulam and the marriage date will be announced after the engagement ceremony. Ananya’s fiancee name is Anjaneyan, who is currently working as a business consultant and lives in Thrissur.

Mohanlal visits ailing Sukumar Azhikode

Mohanlal today visited writer and social activist Sukumar Azhikode, who is under treatment at Amala hospital here on Monday.

Azhikode’s health deteriorated on Sunday night owing to respiratory problems, sources said. He has been diagnosed with spinal cord tumour at the Amala Medical Centre here on December 10. He has been diagnosed with spinal cord tumor, authorities of Amala Institute of Medical Sciences said that his condition is unstable.

Wedding bell for Samvritha Sunil

Samvritha Sunil is all set to tie the knot with Akhil, a Malayali engineer settled in US. Though it is not known when exactly the actress will wed, Samvrutha plans to get married soon.

Samvritha Sunil announced the news of her marriage at the Asianet Film Awards in Dubai. However, the guy originally hails from Kozhikode (Calicut). Samvrutha is likely to get married this year itself. No other details are known as of now.

Mamta Mohandas got married

Film actor Mamta Mohandas got married to her childhood friend and Bahrain-based businessman Prajit Padmanabhan at a simple function held at the Kadavu Resorts in the district.

Prajit is the son of Padmanabhan Kartha of Moovattupuzha and Geetha and Mamta, daughter of Mohandas and Geetha of Kannur Thalassery.

The bride and the groom came in a horse chariot accompanied by the exhilarating sounds of panchavadyam. The two got engaged on November 11 at a function held at the groom’s house in Moovattupuzha.

Closes relatives of the two and a few friends from the film fraternity attended the marriage function. Directors Sathyan Anthicaud and Shyama Prasad, singer Unni Menon and actress Samvritha Sunil attended the function.

Man Died in Sangeetha Mohan Car Accident

Sangeetha Mohan is in the news for causing an accident near Karunagappally Thaluk Hospital on Wednesday, 21 December 2011 at 10.45 pm.

But it is being said that there was a driver with Sangeetha Mohan in the Alto car and at the time of accident Sangeetha Mohan was not driving.

The person who died was Shibu who was traveling in a bike, which was hit by Sangeetha Mohan's car.

Shibu fell down in the road after being hit and a Trailer lorry went over him and he was immediately taken to hospital.

But he died at Medical College Hospital in Trivandrum on 22 December morning.

Shibu is a native of Tazhava Kuthirapanthi Kochu Kaleekkal Veedu.

Actress Shruthi granted divorce

Shruti and director S Mahender's 13-year-old marriage has been ended with divorce. A family court on Thursday has granted their wish for the separation. The court granted the custody of their only child to Shruti.

Shruthi, who was introduced to the film industry by Dwarakish, and Mahender fell in love and got their intercaste marriage done in the Puri Jagannath temple in 1998. Meanwhile, she is all set to marry Chandrachud, a former journalist-turned-film director.

Court allows Jyothirmayi to divorce

Jyothirmay got divorce from her husband Nishanth Kumar, to whom she was married for seven years. The Ernakulam Family Court allowed the divorce petition moved by Jyothirmayi and Nishanth.

Jyothirmayi had filed a divorce petition at the family court last March. Later the duo decided to file a petition with mutual consent. The actress got married to Nishanth, a software engineer working in the Middle East in the year 2004.
